Here's how it works and how it can save energy and reduce your heating bill.
1. The stored volume of hot water is only heated by energy from the solar panel - so there is never any gas used to heat the water stored in the cylinder.
2. If the Combi boiler does fire, then the water being fed into it will be pre heated, so the boiler will not have to fire on full load therefore using less gas.
3. This system is revolutionary because it is used in conjunction with a Combi boiler and therefore hot water is not stored unnecessarily but always available on demand.
